Cycling Trip, visiting Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam

On March 11th 2006 I flew to Bangkok, via Kuala Lumpur, to begin a two week guided group tour with Exodus Travels, which would end in Ho Chi Minh City, still commonly called Saigon by its residents, on March 25th. For an idea of the route and the itinerary, please go to Exodus’s map page at

http://www.exodus.co.uk/mappages/moc1.html

Here are some of the photos I took along the way, with a few taken by fellow-traveller Peter Glews, which hopefully will give you a flavour of the trip and the parts of the countries we visited. I have divided the photos into sections, to try to give some order to a holiday which verged on sensory and information overload! You can either look at a named section, reading the notes and enlarging the photos, or you can go to photo gallery and just look at the pictures.

I had a wonderful time in Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. The people were smiley, everything was interesting, the heat was blissful, the hotels were spotlessly clean and the atmosphere was great. We didn’t have a bad meal anywhere, but the Thai food was my favourite - spicier!

A BIG thank you to Matthew Reeves-Hairs, for setting up this site for me. Please check out the links to the other sites he administers.
